This engagement shoot at Bradgate Park took place on moody day with cloudy skies creating beautiful , even light for most of the session. We began the shoot under dry conditions, but after 30 minutes, the rain arrived and we had to shorten the session. In total, the entire engagement shoot lasted just 40 minutes.

Despite the changing weather, Bradgate Part provided a stunning backdrop for engagement photography in Leicestershire, East Midlands. The cloudy conditions added a romantic, atmospheric feel, and once the rain started Sam & John embraced the moment, resulting in natural, relaxed, and genuine images.

This session is a great example of how even a short engagement shoot can produce meaningful photographs. With the right connection, a beautiful location, and flexible approach, 40 minutes is more than enough to capture authentic moments - even when the weather doesn't fully cooperate.
